Ok as much as I think he’s a great guy & a bit of a legend at Town let me rephrase the question, why would they want Shaun?

Presumably he’s a decent coach. Whilst from the outside looking in the gimps’ decision to replace Skubala with inexperienced joint-managers already on the payroll looks odd, their decision making in terms of player and staff recruitment has evidently been begrudgingly solid in recent years.

No idea if this has legs but it's odd a Championship side wanting a league 2 assistant manager/coach ? Then I'd assume Pearson has a secure job at Town and going to Lincoln must be a risk given they're relegation favourites and he would surely need a huge wage increase to take the risk? I like SP and I'd wish him well he looks to me like a Manager in waiting.

I know someone that has actually asked Shaun Pearson about this when they've seen him out prior to them going to Slovenia and there is no truth in it.

I mean why wouldn’t Shaun blurt out potentially confidential information when he’s accosted by a stranger, whilst going about his normal everyday activities?

The only people I would be gutted if they left are Artell , Green , Rogers , cam Mc , Chas and Turi . The rest are very replaceable.

I agree why would he however he wasn't accosted as Shaun is very approachable. But when he was asked directly because someone cares and wants him part of the set up at the club he said there was no truth in it so you have to take that at face value. I guess we'll see who is right and who is wrong in the next couple of weeks going by the originator of this post. My money though is he is going nowhere.
