Wrexham, like us, more than served their time in the Conference. We both got rescued by philanthropic owners. Theirs just happen to be orders of magnitude richer than almost anything else in the league!!

Good luck to them. The early series of the documentary showed a club with the same tensions and characters as our own, as can be found at every club around the country. We’re part of each others script. Never got the obsessive cartoonish beef some of our fans seem to have for them.

I remember that game in the fog at the Racecourse. We were behind the goal and couldn't see the other goal. We were attacking the far goal and I remember seeing the teams line up to kick off in the second half so we must have scored! Couldn't see a bloody thing. Batchy in goal had to ask who scored and let us behind the goal know.

Don’t forget some of their fans contributed to our crowdfunder to help fans afford tickets to the play off final. It takes some class to do that when you’ve just been beaten in a semi final. Not sure I’d have been doing the same for Salford

I've spoken about this before on here but coming out of the The Racecourse after that 5-4 in an absolute daze wearing Town colours, I'll never forget the amount of Wrexham fans that shook my hand and wished us luck. I went for a post-match pint while waiting for my train too and it was all Wrexham fans in the pub and again, several people doing the same. It must have been 20+ people wishing us well in the space of about an hour or so from leaving the ground to having that pint. Forget the circus that comes with it all, the real true Wrexham fans are a great bunch.

I don't think any true football fan begrudges what they have.

It's the jonny cum lately male masturbators that 'have always supported the club' that give them the bad name.

That and the TV companies falling over themsleves to suck them off. See also; Salford.
