I dunno but some of the fanbase are rightly or wrongly going to be irked if players and staff are continued  to be picked off by historically smaller or similar sized clubs regularly.

The body language between DA and SP looked uncomfortable to me after Xmas . I could be miles off the mark but that’s my opinion

The unfortunate reality is they’re a championship club and we’re still in EFL2, History makes no difference at present

Clearly, a behind-the-scenes fall-out could be the only reason that Pearson might be interested in a move to a Championship club.
