I can't be the only that that thinks it's a bit odd to have these threads stickied on a Town forum?

No offence intended to the mods and Rob who do a great job on here.

Probably done to stop weirdos clogging up the main board with their obsession with those clubs.

I don't mind it. I think being stickyed has the opposite to the intended effect, I notice them less.

I think it's a good decision. Keep the "new" section for Town-related or short-read threads. Epically long threads about other clubs should be kept out of the way but still easily accessible for those who want to view them.

What do you reckon the chances are of you being in the same division of one of them in the next 2-3 years so I get to see a GTFC derby?

As I said elsewhere, it was the one thing I missed in my first season of following you.  You can probably imagine what it meant to us when Easy turned down the Sperz and rang Arteta to see if we could sign him, and then, having come back home, scored a hat-trick in his first NLD.  {And he got another two in his second one, the one at theirs.  Want at least another five in two games next season.}

I'd so like to see you win a derby, home and/or away.  As I say, it was only from following you last season that I realised how lucky we are to have a derby every year that means so much to the fans.  {Though obviously, I wouldn't have complained if we hadn't had one the next season cos they got relegated.}

Do you know we celebrate St Totteringham's Day - when it becomes mathematically impossible for Sperz to finish above us in the table?

I pray to God that I get to see you win a derby soon.  Do you reckon it could happen in the next few years?

The Rotherham game will be pretty close to being a derby. They are just an hour away and it’s been a while since we played them.

Batch, Crombie, Moore K, Wiggington, Cumming, Waters, Bonnyman, Ford, Emson, Drinkell, Whymark. Love you all, You are the reason I'm on here. You've had help from Todd, Handyside, Futcher P, Groves, Mendonca, Macca etc etc etc. Up The Mariners!!!!!!!!!

Wicked.  So they'll feel the same way and it will be the derby for both of you?

You need a name for it.  The South North East derby?  SNED?  Isn't that some type of schooling that's in the news?

Hope you batter them home and away.

There is obviously a demand to post about our neighbours. We are far more interested in Scunny than our own women's side, it seems. Over 5000 posts about Scunny. They tend to come in bursts, so making them sticky makes them easier to find. No doubt Hull will get plenty of attention next season (or is it this season yet?)
