I am quite capable of carrying a bag and running on to have a chat with Jackson Smith for a few minutes, once or twice per match, doing pretend physio, then taking a slow, well earned, walk back to the dugout.

I mean, how hard can it be?

IFAB looking into possible solutions to the feigned 'keeper injury problem. No sign of anything being implemented anytime soon, though.

Simple solution is that the team has to nominate an outfield player to go off for 30 seconds?

30 seconds isn't long enough imo and IFAB are already looking at the possibilty of making it 1 or 2 minutes.  I really hope that they come up with a decent solution for this, as I consider it cheating and showing the game in bad light.

And that would delay it while the team had a vote, just say it’s the team capltain or do away with this mindless folly and allow the manager to call one 3 minute time out within the first 60 minutes of the match timed by 4 th official and on the 4th minute the ref blows for commencement of the game regardless where the players are
