Contact on ankle they said. No real mention of the delay and exaggerated dive. Are they simply standing by the establishment and backing the ref or do they have a point?

Supporters scrutinise everything available in detail to get their views proven. TV pundits decide what they see at first sight and then ONLY use technology to favour their opinion ignoring the rest.

He dives for sure, but there was definitely contact. It certainly impacted his stride so probably was a penalty. I thought the ref had a decent game. Let the game flow and didn't blow for every strong challenge like you see most weeks.

Not even leaning into him or shoulder to shoulder - a straight-armed shove.

John Brooks anyone remember him at Blundell Park a few times?  I thought he was one of the worse refs we had, the first time we was in the National League.  I never normally remember one ref from the next.
