Another productive transfer window with three players on loan until end of season, one permanent signing and we have triggered extension on McJannet contract for further 1 year.

Jackson Smith goalkeeper - Hope we can sign him permanent
Maldini Kacurri defender -  Joined from Arsenal so should have some pedigree , a commanding, left-footed centre-half standing at 6ft 2” brings physicality, aerial strength and front-foot defending to the Mariners’ defensive unit.
Tyrell Sellars-Fleming Forward - Played 14 times and scored 5 goals while on loan at Scunthorpe this season,
Andy Cook Forward - With over 680 senior appearances and more than 250 career goals to his name, he will add experience, leadership and firepower to forward line.

With have beefed the team up a bit as well, not so lightweight.

The only casually this window being Danny Rose moving to Barrow.

Hopefully with the additional services of Maldini (like the sound of that) in the defence we can continue our run of being mean at the back.  With  Cook up front, Vernam on the left, Kabia on the right or Burns, Green, Walker,  Khouri/Turi & in midfield (not saying these will be in the starting line-up), it may well be different combinations), it will give the opposition something to think about. In addition we have options of the bench, which is the strongest I have seen in years, with some quality not making the bench.

It will be interesting to see how David blends the team, to get the best out of the squad for the final third of season.

Agree - a really good window. A small point, Maldini is right footed not left footed.

All Town aren’t we

I would be very surprised if anyone other than Alex Graham, Fortune Onoh or possibly Elliott Smith are under consideration.

Having watched them a fair bit this year (and considering how well the team are doing) I’d say there are probably more names that could be considered. It’s whether there is budget to accommodate?
