If anybody is interested,  you can watch tonight's youth team in action against Donny for a fiver on Mariners TV. (UK only I'm afraid).
Might give them a look to see how they are doing.

Elliott Smith puts us 1 up   after 2 mintes, fine header from a free kick. Ps donny are 19th in the division we top

1 all at half time , they look dangerous from set pieces but apart from that they aren't that good. We don't look like we have got out of first gear, needs to be a lot more effort in the 2nd half, and a few of them want reminding that there is no 'I' in team. Far too many occasions when there are trying to beat the extra man and do it all themselves, rather than giving an easy ball to a team mate in a better position.
Don't think Callum n Neil will be very happy with that

Looks like the Youth team are trying to emulate the first team. They have had three gilt edge chances to put the game beyond reach of Donny and fluffed them all.

Played some nice stuff, but you cant miss 2 sitters and expect to win, Artell wanted a philosophy running through the club at all levels, think Woodsy took him quite literally..🤣

lost 2-1, hit the bar in the 90th minute to add to the litany of missed chances.
Callum n Neil will be distinctly unimpressed with that I think. Donny were not very good, but (just like the first team) we just didn't convert our chances.
Far too casual and selfish in the first half. Hopefully they will learn some harsh lessons from tonight and go about winning the league.
like the first team over these last few weeks, very frustrating, when you can see there is a good team, and some good players, in there
