Why is first round winners and second round losers not a combined amount? Pretty sure teams don't arrive at that point.

If we win in the 2nd round, we'll get £79,500 + £26,500 as we will be guaranteed the losers money from the 3rd round.
That alone is probably enough for a decent league two players wages, plus whatever gate receipts we'd get from the 2 games

Because half of the first round winners will be second round winners so will get more prize money.

That is exactly my logic. Another players wage covered, adding strength in depth. Gradually building on the quality we have.

It’s no wonder that (the bigger) teams don’t see it as important. If they are playing in Europe for instance, am pretty sure they’d get a damn site more for each round/game they play in. The fa should boost the cash for this, then maybe clubs may change their opinion on it. After all, and correct me if I’m wrong, there’s a place in Europe if you win the competition

9 men.

We only play 9 men

I could be wrong but isn't the FA Cup run and funded by the FA with a sponsor wheras the FL Carabao Cup is run and funded by the FL with a sponsor. The FA Cup is a higher profile competition and the FA has more money than the FL.
