20:00  Tottenham v Man Utd

So two teams that struggled in the Prem make the final.

Winner ... who knows, both unpredictable.

Makes a mockery of the “Champions League” that one of two sides placed one and two places above the Premier League relegation zone will qualify for the next season.

6 English teams to be in it next year; if the current pattern continues I might just see Town in Europe in my lifetime.

I had the great privilege of seeing us play Middlesbrough in the Anglo Italian Cup.

What the Champions League loses in credibility next season with one of these qualifying, the Europa gains this season. Two big clubs playing decent XIs in the knockouts to gain that place. Would they have done had they sat third and fourth in the league? The winner might be the plucky underdog who gets to the semis next season too.

That competition brings back memories.

I saw us get thumped 4-0 by Leicester at Filbert Street with Bobby Davison helping himself to a hat-trick 🙄

Encapsulated by possibly the shíttest goal I’ve seen this season.
