After thinking we were over the line on Saturday, just anxious to get that final point now. Unbelievably there is a scenario if Sutton were to win both games 1-0 and we lost both ours scoring none and conceding 6, where it would go to a playoff on a neutral ground as we would both have same goals scored and conceded and identical head to head home and away. Just end this season now!

Colchester are still in the mix don't forget so its not just a straight shootout with Sutton, and anything could still happen but that scenario outlined sends a shiver down the collective spine.

Hopefully Rose can be available for Saturday or it's hard to see where the goal(s) will come from. Unless we try a Gardner - Vernam front two

Gardner is on loan at Grimsby Borough until the end of the season. Their season also ends next weekend so no chance of seeing Gardner start.

Artell said Rose is out all season yesterday . . . .

Like him or not, Rekeil Pyke had eight goals before Christmas. Wilson had half a dozen and Eisa had similar.

Hurst didn't get much right, but his signing of Rose and having other players chipping in with goals wasn't necessarily the issue that got him sacked.

But since Artell's arrival, only Rose has been able to kick on. Eisa, Pyke and Wilson have been out of favour here and there, or almost entirely.

I do believe this squad has goals. We just don't play in a way where we can expect many. When things have got nervous, we've tightened up at the back and few goals scored is the trade-off.

I'm not sure what the solution is for Saturday, but this is a conundrum of Artell's making.

To be honest, the way this season has gone, we'll probably get clapped off the field after playing out a turgid 0-0 draw. That would sum us up at the moment — short on quality, creativity and ideas, but just doing enough to get over the line.

Any of our strikers would stand a chance of scoring if we could deliver a ball to one of them, or anywhere near one of them.

Just our luck that our best player and top goal scorer is out for the last 2 games.

As if it wasn't nervy enough.

Most are assuming we will get what we want on Saturday against Swindon, but their stats were quite good in last nights game, despite losing, and they have won three of their last six.

Hope we don't have to go to Crawley and get something from the game.

i think the biggest influence on atmosphere on Saturday will be BBC scores on the mobile phone or people listening to Suttons game

Yeah I'm hoping the signal in The Main holds up Sutton on refresh while trying to watch the game .

Thanks for clearing that up. So we would be on 10 wins but Sutton 11 if that were to happen.
