and the bonus for being the last L2 club in the competition.

We must have made over £1million from this cup run.

Look what it did for Lincoln.
I’m absolutely buzzing ( and drunk) I’ve supported Town since 1978 and this is up there with everything I’ve seen.

The bonus for being the last L2 club in the competition stopped in 2017, however we do get £125k tv money from tonights game.

yup - £225k for winning tonight plus another £125k for the brighton tv money.
can imagine it will be a good attendance at Brighton as they look for an easy progression into the semis.

PS what was the attendance tonight?

Ah well
At least we’ll be able to afford to power up the floodlights next season now

Let's hope that some of this new found wealth is used for a better ground PA system and helps towards the new training ground project.

What, no cash for new players??

Well.... if ground and training conditions are improved, both fans and players will slowly get a better all round experience.

We have proven in many games in the last season, and this season, that a super star group do not always succeed.

McAtee aside, as a loan player now, and he isn't beyond criticism, the group needs to have permanent signings in place that have been fully researched as being proper parts of Hurst's jigsaw.

Josh Emmanuel is a prime example of what seemed a "who and why" signing, and has been a breath of fresh air in our defence,  whilst also making Efete the perfect foil with a confident partner alongside him.

I also think that Khan, Orsi and Lloyd will all have improving end runs to the season end.

Great run in the Cup, now fown to earth for more league points. This will.all be about "team" and "squad", as Hurst will have to give some rest to the likes of workhorse Clifton before they get injuries or are worn out.

Lastly, what about that noisy barrage of wonderful Town fans, who just kept the chants going all night to boost the players. The cost, the time, the sheer logistics involved as we keep travelling further South. A testament to loyalty to the club, as it slowly revives itself with the new owners and their business acumen at the helm.

UTMM !!!
