At the game but in the posh seats with my boss who’s a Saints STH and member and coming from Gurensay for the game, mixed feelings about the seating arrangements but it’s meant a free hotel & beers. I did offer him the privilege of sitting with us but he couldn’t guarantee good behaviour.

Looking forward to seeing a 96th minute goal go in and see who you pull out in the next round, being the underdog won't bother Grimsby by all accounts

I'm envious of you lot.  Will set my alarm for 2AM.  Let's hope we beat them in 90 minutes.  Luckily, Thusrday is my easiest day, so I can creep off and get a kip at work.

It clashes with my dogging night, so I might have to listen to it on the radio!

Massive kudos to the super fans heading darrrrn sarrrrf to Sarrrfhampton...
I truly wish I could go to the match but unfortunately - i'll be supporting the mighty mariners at home with the wife n kids!!! Will be cheering and chanting along with the amazing town crowd but i'm expecting ITV to be focusing their mics on the saints crowd!

"Oh when the town... go steaming in....!"

Wasn’t going to be there, but really thinking about going at the moment. Long way and a lot of time and expense. But these times don’t come very often.
I might just go. Could be a really great night, nothing to lose.

I'm thinking the same. Looked at train prices and they are £150 without accommodation, tickets, food and beverages.  :-/

Apart from time and money - go on do it!

It will be 2.15 am Thursday (on this side of the planet) when the match starts.

By good luck, March 1st is the birthday of the partner of my mate who runs 'Scorpion Bar' so it would be open at that
time anyway - official closing times are pretty much ignored on birthdays around here! And he's got ITV4...  :)

So I'll be watching on TV there, and probably Kim Hartley too (some of you will know the big fella I'm sure).

Neither. I'm self employed. Going to the game would have meant losing two days work. Can't justify that. I'll be driving home from the midlands around kick off time, hopefully it will be on the radio. Midweek 5th round FA Cup games a disgrace.

I can't believe we've shifted 4000+ tickets for a midweek 500+ mile round trip. Got the afternoon off work and getting on the 3pm train from Waterloo. Assuming it doesn't go to extra time, it's a relatively easy one for any London based Mariners. Absolutely massive respect to all you lot making the journey from up North though.

Going with my 16 year old who will be missing some of his GCSE lessons but sometimes life experiences need to take precedence over two hours of Maths that he’ll probably never need to use.

Staying overnight which means we won’t be home until early Thursday afternoon which is the wife’s birthday so our popularity at home is not at an all time high!!!  To be fair she understands these events are few and far between and they are fed up of my stories of the Cup trips to Coventry, Liverpool, Everton et al and it’s time for the lad to add this trip to his Chelsea visit and get his Mariners’ Memories.

Can’t make my mind up…

Finish work at 14:50… Is it do-able? Probably not…

Would I accept turning up 15 mins late… Probably.

Only missed Cambridge (a) all season so far.

Shambles it’s on a week night.
