In the Upper.

Top half of "The Upper", if he gets bored he can watch the river/estuary traffic.

One of the best views in English football.

But also flipping freezing for your lad* in the winter.**

Not sure what availability is like in there at the minute, I suspect limited.

For a general all-round decent view and protection from the elements, I would suggest either in the Osmond or the Osmond corner.

There were no 2 seats together that were not restricted views in the Upper for the Stevenage game when I booked last week :-/

Oldest wooden structures in the league...and that's just the Town fans who sit in there!!!

Great if you like looking at posts holding the roof up

If you want 2 seats together, which I'm sure you do, then this season it can only really be The Main Stand or The Osmond.

Very, very few 2 seats together in the Upper, Lower or Pontoon this season, if any at all.

Nothing wrong with the main stand and if you’ve got a young one with you they have great opportunities to meet the players. Scanz is constantly signing autographs and chatting to the kids for instance whilst he’s been injured, Mcatee too.

Main stand if it's his first game, easier to get to and easier to get to the toilet if he's (you've? ;D ) got a weak bladder...

Loads of tickets available in all stands for Saturday. Must be a hell of a lot of ST holders not going.

I'm a STH in the Upper but I'm only travelling from Sheffield because I have family business to attend to. Otherwise I'd put the money towards a ticket at Wimbledon.

Price should be reduced but appreciate this is not just a GTFC decision.

Me and my fellow season ticket holders will be going but won't get our tickets till later in the week. If our seats have been sold no matter we will sit elsewhere. No rush as it won't be a sellout.

Coldest night of the season for me tonight to see a good win by the youth team against Walsall.

Yeah there was a definite bite in the air, especially in the second half wasn't there?

I mentioned to my old man, who I've got a ST in the Main Stand with, as the game kicked off that the view was so different and clearer up there...

The prospect of sitting there when it's really  cold soon killed any slight thought I had about switching stands.  Happens every time I venture up there.
