Died aged 72.

I loved him as Fitz in Cracker. Brilliant as Hagrid too.

Yeah, Cracker was a great series and Robbie was a good actor.

I also enjoyed his series on the A roads of Britain.

Loved him as Dr Johnson in Blackadder.

Watched a film starring him and Eric Idle the other day on prime, should have been awful but the quality of acting from him and Idle rescued it.  Such a broad range of serious drama, comedy, hollywood.....what an actor

I recall seeing the two of them in a film years ago..... reminded me of the old Confessions films
