At the hotel in Manchester. Cracking atmosphere in the Town centre. Alway good weekends. Let’s hope it’s enhanced with a win for the Mighty Mariners.

Manchester is a fabulous city but has crap pubs
Some good ones in Rochdale could do the trick

Then you’ve got Cloudwater, Track, Alphabet etc.

That’s 10 nice pubs in a city of the size of Manchester
Not a good hit rate.

Not proper pubs….

Always thought cloudwater is very overrated. The guys at ABC (alphabet) are great as are track.

Try northern monk, wander beyond and vocation.

No. Despite what u may think I’ve lived in Manchester and still within commuting distance
Sometimes people should listen to the points made rather than gob off with insufficient knowledge
But hey ho.
I know where I will be tomorrow and it will be in carefully selected hostelries in and around Rochdale

Giggs Arms but be careful - you might get head butted especially if you're a woman

If you can't find a decent pub in Manchester, you're doing it wrong. Guessing you're the sort of person who goes to Leicester Square in London and decides the whole of London is overpriced and rubbish.

Use the tram!

Manchester has a ton of pubs, clubs, music venues and much more. I don't know how boring you'd have to be to prefer a night out in Rochdale of all places....It's like staying in Sheffield city centre and then deciding to get the bus to Rotherham or Barnsley for a night out instead.

Some people like to be controversial, as you say, if you can’t find a good pub in Manchester you’re doing it wrong…I’d be even more concerned if I had local knowledge and couldn’t find one.

I've lived in Manchester for 30 years and believe me there are some fantastic pubs if you look for them!

Had a cracking laugh in the gay village. Great atmosphere, great music.  I now have to wear the yellow builders hat at the match for a bet.  Now in centre(ish).  Don’t know if any Town fans about as I’ve had to change my top to get in-the bars.
