Plenty of stations east of London with direct trains to Stratford, easy for the M11

Fantastic result. Because it was not possible to watch the BT-Sport matches against Notts and Wrexham here in Sweden. After listening to Radio Humberside which has made me nervous in these matches. So now I have booked a flight to London next weekend.

Piccadilly line ,wont take you directly to Stratford.
Central Line will, thinking Epping or South Woodford for easy access via road.

Whilst that is my chosen route into London, I’m joking really as I think there are much better routes to the east end. We all need to research here.

For those driving just drive to the Westfield shopping centre at Stratford the car park is massive, then just walk up. The old shopping centre across the road from the tube station also has a large car park which if I recall rightly is relatively cheap.

Epping (end of central line) is about 3-4 miles from M11 (get off at junction 7) with quite a big car park and then direct to Stratford (10 stops). Other car park at Loughton, but more difficult to get to from M11.

You need to check there aren’t weekend closures on central line though.

Soccer Express £43.90 per seat. Leaving McDonalds outside Blundell Park at 6am aiming to get to London Stadium around midday

Just booked with Soccer Express they have 15 coaches in total pick ups at McDonalds and Immingham

I was going to do that, as I did when we played Leyton Orient, until my wife mentioned what time does the centre close on SUNDAY. On their site it says it closes at 6.00pm on Sunday. That is probably the shop closing time, I would expect, but I don't know. And if the match goes to extra time and penalties it will be after 6.00 I expect.

Booked train from Sheffield in to St Pancras. Paid the extra £2 insurance in case of disruption. If Chesterfield win tomorrow this train will sell out in no time.

For those going by car on the day and parking to get the tube into London, be aware there is a large pageant starting at 2.30pm and finishing outside Buckingham palace at 5.30 so I would assume there will likely be tens of thousands heading into London doing the same thing.
