My favourite Bursny moment has to be a post match interview in the early Michael Jolley days. "Sorry, what's your name?"

"Burnsy."

;D Yes, that alone was worth the licence fee that year.

I'll be listening with the sound off if it's Burnsy.

Not well known, but I understand that Burnsy is in fact a town fan.

Don’t mind Burns as a commentator. Was one of the few who questioned Fenty when plenty were licking his ringer

Burnsy is a Town fan.

Burnsy also called Fenty out a long time before most Town fans did.

Facts.

Was that the one where Jolley said “Pirlo wasn’t available for selection today” when Burns challenged the lack of creativity 😂

Believe he is in fact a football fan ....when living in Cleethorpes he supported Town  but I think when he moved to Hull he started watching them  so in fact he supports the team local to him

Lets crowd fund and  buy him a caravan in Scunny

I like Burnsy because he calls out the bullshiit and isn’t scared to ask the difficult questions

Burnsy is a quality commentator who brings a bit of life to whatever he talks about, yes he can ramble off piste a bit like Allis in golf but I enjoy listening.

Like others have said he doesn't shy away from asking the questions fans want asking, hence why he was banned from interviewing / commentating at Hull towards end of previous regime.

Whether he is a town fan or not is irrelevant, we have a town fan who commentates and asks the questions which often leave a lot to be desired.

Up the Burnsy
