Genuinely gutted. Another genius gone far too soon. I’m stunned. Loved him as a player and pundit. So sad.

So shocked and sad about this. My favourite cricketer ever and the best spinner the world has ever seen. Great and humble guy and superb pundit. Will be really badly missed by many. God Bless Warney 😞

Really upsetting this..the greatest spin bowler I’ve ever seen - and ever will. A bubbly, personable engaging character whom mastered the media side after retiring also. He was admired by his team mates and opposition alike, and the banter and stick he took from the crowds  - and gave - with that smile - said everything. Not only the king on the field - he was wonderfully accommodating in helping others, knowledgable.

The tributes are testament and fitting to what he gave to everyone else, his passing will be felt by many.

Truly one of the greats.

RIP Shane..
