The current Town best11 is definitely capable of holding its own in the 2nd Division, IMO.
But who could play at a higher level?- I think Efete, Sousa and, of course, Macatee.

I would suggest Harry Clifton, his game has improved immensely under Hurst.

Then there's Max Wright, unplayable at times, if only he could stay fit.

I think Waterfall could play at a higher level. As long as you 're not playing it out from the back, he is absolutely solid.

And Raikhy of course can and will play at a higher level.

It would be a good idea to get promoted then they could all play at a higher level 😉🥳

Efete, Mcatee, the lad from Villa and to some extent, Maguire Drew…

I really like Efete, weve had some really good fullbacks over the years, but cant remember many marauding wing backs, he'll keep improving and be a massive asset at this level

They all have until May / June to prove to the Forum members and all other fans that they are capable of consistently playing well enough to attract interest from above.

The proof would be being up in the top 7 and in the best team form ready for the play offs !!

A month long run of good form would get the team higher up in the league.

I would add Crocomb to the list.

Whilst i like the positivity, lets not forget this team also only got 2 wins in 14.
I'm not trying to pull people down, but 1 incredible performance doesn't turn them into world beaters.
Just like 1 loss won't turn them back into NLN players.

I think most of the main 13/14 players we have would be absolutely fine in League 2.    

Efete & McAtee could certainly play even higher for me.

Efete and McAtee look more than capable of playing a notch or two higher up the pyramid. Fox and crocomb possibly a touch higher the rest of them look at their level to me. Special mention to max wright would be ok at a better level but obviously injury after injury tells me it will probs never happen

Most of our team has played a large portion of their career at a higher level.

Waterfall is a totally different player this season and I actually think he would handle the step up ok under a manager that knows his limitations.

Not sure you can describe him as "absolutely solid" considering he was one of the mainstays of a defence that helped to get us relegated and the way the Notts County no.10 waltzed passed him on Saturday.

Crocombe, Efete, Fox, Clifton, Sousa, Wright, Maguire-Drew, McAtee. Raikhy obviously but not our player :(

If we went up this season would like us to keep them all and add some needed quality in key areas, especially a pacey athletic central defensive partnership and left back of the same ilk as Efete. Also need an effective destroyer in midfield and a proven goalscorer up top.

No need to go that far  though. Almost every other ground in England is higher than BP, if not every ground.

Not convinced by Sousa yet. Looks flashy but not sure he has the end product to succeed in the EFL.

Perhaps an upgrade on Sousa, but to me that is the bare bones of a stronger XI than we had when we last went up.

Yet people don't see that bit do they just the end result.  One of my favourite players regardless of end product.  Always gets me off my seat which is what I like to see in attacking football.
