What are peoples thoughts on this? Personally I find it strange but with our large squad it may help

Should help enable a more settled first team by being able to bring more fresh legs on during games rather than making wholesale changes game to game. It’s a sensible way to deal with this shortened season but I don’t want to see it become permanent because 3 subs promotes better tactics and allows a fairer playing field between clubs with larger and small squads.

Only if we can put on the five subs without taking anyone off

Well that's an excuse Holloway can't use anymore!

Overall I don’t like it however it probably helps us given our squad size and Holloway’s refusal to pick the same side twice.

Christ...Holloway ( as he is now known) cant get the first 11 right, I doubt that he can the bench right

Cant wait for a sub, to be subbed, who is then also subbed,

Could easily be us that one  ;D    How embarrassed would the player be ?

In Sunday League of old i can remember a couple of occassions were we started games with only 10 players on the pitch but had subs waiting on the sidelines as the last player was still on his way and we would rather start with 10 men than waste a sub for 10 minutes of action.

I remember you walking up and down the line in your subsuit that Sunday morning Moosey.  ;)

I think it will completely change the game ultimately, probably for the worse. Players will specialise in specific substitute roles, like pitchers in baseball or 20/20 cricket players, and starting the game will no longer be seen as the ultimate aim. Right now it'll probably be ceased upon by IH as a chance to sign even more players.
