Genuine question.when did we last sign a triallist who became a successful Town player? The only 2 triallists I remember being signed are Ivano Bonetti and that scouser Robles ( from 1 extreme to another !)

Dembele was a trialist wasn’t he 3 years ago. I’m sure I watched him in one of the pre season games and he was then signed on.
I’m old though so I may be wrong. I’m also married so I’m usually wrong....

I remember seeing Michael Jeffrey on trial during pre season and thinking he'd never get signed after that game.

funny enough, Andrew Fox was also on trial the same time as Dixon.
Slade chose Dixon over Fox
We then later signed Fox, who turned out to be a lot better
