Morning all, just bought Peugeot 2008 64 plate, surprised to see it doesnt have parking sensors. Can i buy these anywhere and have them fitted by a garage?

When we bought a Fiesta for my wife the other year, we got rear parking sensors fitted by the dealership. She still won't try to park it, but they are helpful when I'm driving the car! I'd imagine a Peugeot dealership could fit some for you. I think we paid 250 quid or thereabouts to have rear sensors alone fitted.

It might be cheaper to get a front and rear dashcam wired in that shows the image of you reversing on your centre console?

It might be worth giving Audio Island a call  (if you're local) their work is spot on and I would trust them over a main dealer.

It’s french...it’ll be more attuned to gong backwards anyway...

In all seriousness, I can’t imagine they’re that expensive these days, depends if you want dealer specific ones...

I just reverse until I feel a little bump then move forward a touch. 😊
