Are you sure it wasn't "A kipper"?

Why on earth would he be looking to sign a keeper?...we have 2 decent league 2 keepers at the club....possibly misunderstood what Ollie said about Macca in his post match interview on Saturday...
"I've got a keeper who can save" or something close to that line .

I think the OP was suggesting we might be sending Battersby out on loan?!

Well he’s going but doesn’t know yet ..

‘Does your Keeper know?‘

He's sorted them, as in a keeper outgoing not one incoming Northbank

Yep, got it, Billericay who's managed by O'Hara need a keeper as theirs is out all the time injured...so could be Holloway's sending batts there on loan...makes more sense now...

Its on Twitter now;  @talkSport;   OHara says he only has one keeper and he's injured, and our gaffer rings up and offers one of ours for free!

We or Ollie are going to get more mentions on TV and radio than we have ever had before,

That can only be a good thing for the club.

Players who think they are too good for us in the past are gone,

The same standard of player of today will want to come to us because of Ollie.

Just listened to it and what a bloomin legend. Honestly dont think I've ever been as excited as a town fan as this

I wonder if the player himself was listening live?

For free !!!!!  i live in Humberston and thought i heard a loud scream echoing from the direction of Humberston Avenue earlier...that will explain it.

Ian can expect a call into the panelled room tomorrow....."Ollie, are you familiar with the phrase 'devaluing the product'..."   ;D

No he's playing for the Towns reserves today so staying put for now - until Ollie offers him out for FREE again!!

They got a keeper from Charlton in the end. Good publicity though, got people talking about the club and I guess with such a public appeal plenty of clubs were willing to help out.
