Do you remember that midweek game where he was just dancing around, getting past his man but refusing to cross the ball, just continually jinking left-right, left-right etc? It was like he was doing the Hokey Cokey or something. It was bizarre.

I think we're also looking at either Thomas brolin or John Barnes to spice things up in the middle too

I sadly remember him fart arsing around in our pen area in front of the pontoon, losing the ball which whoever we played scored..man did he get some dogs abuse that game.

Wallace is a great crosser of a ball. Something that’s been missing for Hanson all season.

Think he's a set piece specialist isn't he? Sure I remember seeing him whip a few free kicks into top corners over the years.

A good pedigree but he's not played a game for over 4 months and he's getting on a bit in footballing terms, especially for an attacker. Even if he's not been injured, it is likely to be some time before he'd be up to fitness.

A bit of a risk if he's relatively expensive, but we certainly need to improve our delivery from set pieces and crossing, especially if Hanson is playing.

Think it was Hartlepool, lost 4-1?

Pinch of salt with this rumour - from an ITK twitter account.

Not even paper talk. These #itk "ex-agent" Twitter accounts are lower than that. Load of balderdash.

Yep, his last ever game I think. Got subbed later in the game and walked off slower than Xhaka (possibly milking the abuse, possibly just because he was 84)

Josh Brolin could be better. Click of a finger and half the opposing team are gone?

And that was the fastest he moved all game

His name should be banished into room 101

Definitely think it's fair to say this is just one of those 'ITK' accounts randomly picking names off the PFA list of players without a club.

That said, Wallace was a quality player at a much higher level than Beagie.  When he came here, Beagrie was 40, nearly 41, having not played in the top two flights for 6/7 years.

Wallace on the other hand has spent all of his career in the Championship with the exception of last year, when he was a regular for Fleetwood who finished 11th in League One.

I'm always wary of bringing in players in their mid-30's who haven't had a club for a while.  It doesn't tend to work very often at all.  Wallace would feel a bit like Gary McSheffrey as someone who has a pedigree, was very good, but ultimately there's a reason why mid-season they've not got a club.  We do, however, have a distinct lack of quality in our squad and Holloway has been around long enough to know the type of player who can come in and do a job as opposed to someone who's going to be a waste of the budget...

I fully expect we'll have a few young loan players from Championship sides but also the odd out of contract player fancying one last hurrah.
