If we get 2 wins in the next 2 home games can we stop all this moaning for a bit?

No because - without wanting to use the phrase - it’ll be papering over the cracks. Change is needed.

Must be feeling lucky if you're predicting 2 own goals in 2 games

Nah - because none of this week's events are really Slade related. Pretty much everyone expected us to lose last week, pretty much everyone expected us to score nil and pretty much everyone expected Slade to say what he did post-match. This week has very much about how the club is being run and that's not likely to change.

Serious question. And I’m relying on your honesty.
How many games have you physically attended in the last two seasons ?

And how many Town fans do you socialise with to gauge opinion ??

It could be better, we could be in Scunthorpes Hulls, Lincolns,
Doncaster’s, Huddersfields, etc etc position.

With our lack of goals recently I can only see 2 points out of 6 at best unfortunately.

Season ticket holder. Missed 2 games last season, missed 3 already this one.  I enjoyed last year but this year the football has been dire. I socialise with lots of town fans and most are unhappy but slade and fenty are going nowhere this season so all i can hope for is some improvement with new players coming back. The football was actually quite good when he took over at the end of last season. I just pray he has some kind of plan.

It'll certainly bring a little positivity but theres no way on earth we'll take 6 points. Frankly we're excrement

If Dixon Berrett Vernon and Summerfield all start on saturday I'm just off home straight away and giving my ticket away outside the ground.

You'll be OK - Dixon's suspended.

Did you have to mention the Scunts? I could cry when i think how much better they have been than us for far too long now.

As for us winning the next two games. Hopeful but can't see it myself. We've only managed to win two on the trot once this season i think i'm right in saying. I just can't see where the goals are going to come from but i live in hope.

Not fair really IMO  our defence have been OK, if your midfield and strikers are not performing then the ball keeps coming back putting you under pressure.

England using the same tactics as us have drawn with the best two sides in the world with a team half made up with kids,

So Russell give youth a chance.

The lack of movement from our front players is killing us - I can't believe strikers and wide midfielders are told to stand still to get the ball. Movement is key and we haven't got enough of it.

If my calculations are right we are only 2 points worse off than we were at this point last year, hardly disaster by points comparison... so the reason we all seem to be unhappy with the football side of things is the style and entertainment on offer.

We just look so slow and useless going forward and so bl00dy defence orientated, its mind numbing.

To answer the question .....if the wins are brought about with some free flowing football and attacking intent then i think the moaning regards the on pitch activities will reduce....if the wins come through grinding out a couple of 1-0 wins on the back of a defence minded approach then the moaning will remain.

I certainly hope though that if the starting 11 changes significantly then the crowd will allow the players to bed in and not be straight on their backs. We know Dixon wont be there so one change is forced....now the unbeaten League run is broken Slade did intimate in his interview last week that changes could be due....i hope he delivers on that because more than one change is needed based on the previous 5/6 games to liven us up.
I really dont care who he brings into the starting 11 ,on top of Dixons replacement, as long as he does, that to me would be recognition that we havnt been good enough and indicate progress of sorts.

What a difference a goal makes,

If we scored and won all the 0-0 games by 1-0,

Everybody might not be over the moon but we would be in the plays offs.

AND

Going home after a game thinking rubbish game  but another WIN 8)

Sam Jones desperately needs some one up front with pace with him he’s not been right lately and is imo the one player most likely to score for us I’m hoping to see a few changes Saturday give some of the other lads a chance ie dj cardwell/Hooper kelly j.Osbourne with those in the side would definitely be more attacking and hopefully GOALS !!!

Without being one of those “ITK” nob’eds it sounds as though we are better off for being rid of him.

I have never been so bored or disinterested in the 30 years of supporting Town. It really doesn’t matter what team Slade puts out, its garbage every week. We need a change, with the colder weather and Christmas looming the crowds will drop like a stone, we need entertainment, everyone I know who supports Town is saying the same. I despair I really do. I would literally take any other manager right now.

I think DJ has to get a start at some point and i'm hoping Jamey Osbourne is ready to at least be on the bench. Berrett and Woolford are not 100%, so i think now is the time Russ. Go on, you know it makes sense, have a go at them and if we go down, go down fighting.

A 1-0 win and even a 4-0 defeat is better than two 0-0 draws

3 pts instead of 2.

Balderdash. The bigger picture is there was a player revolt against Bignot. And he drunk off the backroom staff. Standards slipped across the board.

But don’t let the facts get in the way of fiction.

The truth is we are well rid.

Hmm! Bit early to judge seeing as they were in the relegation zone when he arrived. Watching them against Wrexham, they were clearly the better side and had no luck at all. Not saying he's a great manager, but i think he needs longer before that is decided.

I hope that would not happen as well mate but the point was we would be a point better off,

Going all out for a win makes the risk worth the odd defeat rather than just trying not to lose all the time.
