Even though there are enough examples of irrational decision-making in GTFC's recent history, I have to say that the Stevenage silence, the bullying accusations and today's Woodhouse/Matt Dean farce are an escalation of all things bizarre at the club. WTF is going on?

A bunker mentality among the few in the inner circle?

Tough to tell, but recent statements point to some combination of the full-on Ratner-isation of our non-Chairman, and end-stage Syphillis.

Bunker mentality suggests some sort of defendable position.

The statement is OTT in my opinion but they have every right to publicly call out shite journalism like that.

Everyone seems to be obsessed with breaking news first and showing how in the know they are. It can be damaging when the news being revealed isn't even true.

Agree that Dean jumped the gun but there was, however, more than a grain of truth about the whole story.
Maybe it was seen as done and dusted. Not excusing it, still required more substance but maybe Matt Dean was assured it was happening, the wheels were set in motion for it after all but maybe getting the nod from the top was taken for granted.

And who knows how they decide things up there.

Why would we want a coach? Is no-one doing this role?

Would have thought that we had enough of experiments with untried young managers following the previous managers dismissal
Too many folks looking for bogey men who don't exist?

What's the answer then? Be patient, keep calm and carry on

Usually good advice. But then GTFC isn't exactly usual.

Between us all we must know an employee in every restaurant / bar in the local area....get the feelers out to check if there have been any table reservations over the last few days for Fenty/Slade/GTFC/Mr Factsright ....i will rule out the Captains Table out as a venue as
a) no longer there
b) alleged lightning doesnt strike twice

I think when they had the vote to employ him it was 4-0 to do so. When the 5th member returned from the toilet he decided to have another vote. This for some unknown reason resulted in 5-0 not to.

What we have lost is a--- STRIKER WHO CAN SCORE --- The football may be boring and we dont create many chances,, but we do create them.. and either miss them all together or they are saved,, simple reason is we dont have a player that is  an out and out striker with that little bit faster eye and brain to pick the spot where it is less likely to be saved. We dont have that sort of player at the club at this moment in time , and if we dont find one or start scoring soon  we will get relagated . as you cannot get points without winning, draws are not enough
