The video I saw had people on the pitch, pyro everywhere. I could not tell but were the Town fans involved in this?

They got the game postponed by going on the pitch. Odd behaviour.

Looks more like a chav convention than a footy trip. I know someone that went and knew it would end up in a drunken farce.

Ah well , it seemed to have escalated quickly after the last photos I saw.
At least our fans whilst showing the hand of friendship to our European cousins managed to live up to out world famous reputation set by the Grimsby movie  ;D

So they have on Rememberance Weekend gone to Belgium for a urine up and to ruin a local football game? Embarrassing to our club for starters and disrespectful to those that were in Belgium 100 years ago.

I was stood near them at Dover a couple of seasons ago felt they where looking to cause a bit of trouble if they could. From the pictures it looked like a Stone Island promo day to me.

Was it our "magnificent" support or the locals that caused the trouble?

Initial reports of abondoment/postponement seem a little premature as although there was a delay the match ran its full course.

Just to promote the other side of our 'chavs' it was also on twitter how they attended a remembrance parade today and laid a wreath alongside the Belgians.

Derbyshire police must have been over there too.

Game was suspended on 64 minutes.

64 ' Our supporters are seeing their less good side. Some went on the pitch around the field and threatened to enter the field. Referee Windels puts the game silent and sends everyone in.

Club statement from Aalst

The club management greatly regrets the behavior of a minority, who calls himself Eendracht-supporter but not worthy of name during and after last night's match in Oudenaarde and completely disposes of it. Together with the security services, the necessary steps will be taken immediately to identify and prosecute those responsible for these facts. After consultation with all stakeholders, action will also be taken to avoid this inadmissible behavior in the future, in the usual form of repression and prevention.

It looked like there were a lot of pyrotechics going off - time the Oudenaarde stewards started looking in bras perhaps

Maybe they were battle re-enactors and not hooligans. Paying homage to the Duke of Marlborough. (Black) Gunpowder creates a lot of smoke:  ;)
