Some nice stadiums on that list, Royal Antwerps is nice, agree about East Fife right next to a factory chimney.  Most of the stadiums have character, yet the person how did this decided to look at the surrounding areas, not the inside of the stadium itself.  Baffling lol.

Must have been an imp haha.

So a stadium that is grandly 118 years old, steeped in history, has character, is 'ugly'.

That looks like a comprehensive list that will end all debate on what was previously a subjective matter.

What a strange video; the poster is obviously a fan of late 20th Century Lego-type grounds and despises those of clubs like ourselves, Gillingham and Millwall, who have remained at the heart of our communities. Blundell Park isn't a dump; three-quarters of it is old-fashioned, but it has loads of character and I love it. We can assume that he hasn't been to Glanford Park. Speaking of which, that Iron Paradise is apparently no longer fit for purpose after less than 30 years. Is that something we need to bear in mind when our new stadium is being considered?

my Mrs says i am a character.......i think you have deciphered her message for me  :'(

Lets be honest...BP is ugly....the stands are a different shape, size and dimension, the Findus doesnt extend the full length of the pitch, mix match of materials throughout, back street setting with train lines down the back....yes character but character doesnt necessarily equate to beauty in the eye of the beholder.

We have emotional ties with the place but to those that dont then.....

That’s what I thought too, Blundell Park may not be the best but it does not deserve to be on this list, I’ve been to many grounds over the years and there are lots worse than Blundell Park .

I think the ground is very much in tune with the area it's in so it works. Working class area, working class people, working class football club, working class football ground.

Good old working class people, none of that plastic premiershite crap! We want rotting wood and barbed wire in our ground and grubby backstreets thank you very much. I want to urine in a concrete slab and eat pies served from a working class food truck smothered in economy ketchup.

Yes yes yes yes,

Damn those working classes.  Why can't the guy that collects my dustbin (wheelie bin or whatever) wear a shirt and tie.
I even saw one of those abominable bloody road worker types with mud on his Hi Viz.  No bloody standards those working class scum.
They need to be proper upper class, touching up young news reporters, or making lewd comments to secretaries  who are too scared to say or do anything.
Maybe hiding millions in offshore investments whilst decrying the lollipop man or lady that safely escorts my children across the road (obviously not outside the Private School though), trying pathetically to save up for a winter coat.  Yup, it's Wembley executive suite all the way for me. Why sit in a cold stand with commoners when I can supp free champers without even having to watch whatever is going on outside.
You may not believe this, but I actually heard someone the other day saying how proud he was that his Grandad was a 'skipper' on a fishing vessel.  I mean 'a bloody fishing vessel'  Captain of the QEII or something is acceptable, but a bloody fishing vessel.!!!   Amazing how low standards these poor people have. Still Kris, next time you're in the box at Highbury or Whatever it's called nowadays, get your man to speak to my man and I'll arrange to buy you a Pimms old chap. We can applaud a goal with a ripple of polite applause and maybe the odd shout of 'play up the gunners' if we're feeling wild.  I did hear that our urinals actually feed the pumps in the bar for the lower classes.  What a hoot, an absolute hoot.  Anyway, must dash, there's a charming young filley just walked in.  Absolutely ripe for a spot of sexual abuse, I so love being upper class, don't you  ;)
Pip pip old chap.

Always thought that Findus would have made a cracking home stand behind the goal pontoon end. Obviously height problems with the nearby housing prevented that but it would have been ace and a good deal warmer than facing the icy blasts from the coast as it does now.
