Because of various reasons, one of them being Northern Rail, I spent last night in Scarborough.
So bearing in mind Town could end up here, plus the Grimsby connection  I thought why not.
A small sports ground just a gnats member from the now gone Mccain stadium it's definitely not got the feeling of a football ground.
On the plus side there's a good pub crawl to be had from the Station following the main road until you get to Seamer road and as many will know, nothing for the last 10 or 15 minutes.
There's a small club bar serving the usual suspects at the top of the main stand too.
Minus side being the size.
Two thousand or just under with only 500 to away fans.
So.. If Town end up here it could be a cracking away day in a brilliant seaside town where they can only accommodate a few hundred.

I went and was a bit surprised that he got MOM to be honest although there wasn't much completion, shame Scarborough lost and I will be gutted if its Town v Hyde next round.
Max Wright has been a bit quieter the last few matches, he seems to have been noticed and is getting well marked which is all part of the learning curve.
I am going to the derby with Whitby tomorrow night so hopefully he gets his form back for this one.

Cheers for the feedback Scarbs. If he’s going to make it he’s going to have to learn how to play when teams double up on him. Dembele has the same thing. It’s a great chance for him to have a good season at Scarborough and then come back and challenge next year, it’s so long since we’ve had a local ladm make it hopefully Wright and Clifton can be the next ones to do so.

Goth Army!

Tasty little firm and no mistake.
They had a pre arranged off with the Cleveland ironstone mining museum (janitorial department)  on Staithes seafront.
They were outnumbered two to one but soon had them on their toes and ran 'em all the way back to Skinningrove.
Their  Sunday evening raid on Ravenscar women's institute is the stuff of legend in the area.

My friend who now lives in Scarborough, gave me the same comment on Max, being quieter for the last few games.
