Is he on loan for a season? United shouldn't sell him but I think it'll go one of two ways. He will be recalled in January and sold or he will stay until the end of the loan then sit on the bench behind de gea

At his age Henderson needs game time, being out on loan is perfect for him right now. Why would he want to sign for any other club to be a number 2, he is progressing at the right pace and with England under 21's,  Man Utd must be doing something right with his development surely.

Interest in him will be high, but if not going to be in the first team why bother changing clubs right now. He has a long career ahead of him and he can only get better with the right coaching.  He needs to stay put and get a full season behind him at Shrewsbury, if he helps get them promoted then he has much more of a chance at staking a claim as a number one with a club maybe in the championship and then so on.

If I was him I would be pushing for a new long term contract with man utd for his financial reassurance and take advantage of the loan system, and excellent coaching facilities, till he is the right age and has enough experience to push for a premier league club starting jersey.

He’s out of contract in the summer and is probably 4th or 5th choice at United and if he’s realistic he won’t oust De Gea and the also have Perreira who is a good young keeper, he’s probably holding out to see if he can go elsewhere and be further up the pecking order. No shame in leaving United to improve your career if it is true.
