Just wondered what has happened to Tom Bollarinwa. He has not featured for a few weeks and I have not seen him around on match days. Nothing said by the club, unless I have missed it. Just wondered.

He was doing fitness test with Mills before warm up.

Tom is a trier and i sort of like his haphazard style, but like Dembele at the moment, there is not a lot of end product there. I think he is carrying an injury anyway.

Tom has got great sustained pace, Dembele is great over a short distance but hasn't got the pace to carry him away from defenders.

Yeah, i would agree with that. Tom has all the attributes but he doesn't cause enough damage. I suppose if he did, he wouldn't be in League 2.

Squad player at best for me
Problem is there is no reserves league any more so how the hell can people like Tom develop other than going out on loan??
I think lack of reserve league has had huge effect - managers need success and 'finished' product from day one and tend to go for experience, not least as they get no time to develop players... think Frank de Boer!

There is a reserve league. Not many games, but there is one.

Lack of reserve games has to be a major issue for a giant squad like ours, particularly the younger pro's, can't we get them fixed up somewhere for some game time?

The harsh truth is that he's not good enough to force his way into what is an utterly average team/first team match day squad.

Offers more than woolford going forward and so worth a go for me. Also dembele needs dropping for the lad from Norwich. All very confusing but no complaints and let's see where we are at Xmas. If still as crap then I would be asking questions utm

Reserve League - yes you are right there us one but I remember (cos I;m old enough!) when it was virtually every week
Been a big blow IMO for smaller clubs who can't shell out a few million on a ready made player

Why cant we play the prem under 23 teams in the reserve league.?

Then they can stay out of our cup.

I like Tom he won us a few penos and works hard but even looking at him doing the shooting at practise you can see they is little end product.

Tombola might be a bit raw but he made good runs into the box that hurt defences resorting in giving peno's away.
