Now then fellow Town followers. I've been sent a daily diary entry for upload to our beloved "Fishy Forum' by our dear friend Town Cryer who, by her very nature, is a shy self-effacing individual so asked me to share this.

On first glance and, indeed, after digestion of her writings, one should rightly assume she is indeed enchanted by the aggregation of Grimsby fans in Lincolnshire and beyond. This is very true and on review of her writings she is clearly a fond ally and as well as a passionate Lincoln City aficionado.

Herewith the detailed chirography from last Saturday, copied literally from her letter to me – enjoy!

The 'not so' secret short writings of Town Cryer - Notts County (Away fixture)

9am - I'm awake! Black and white stripe striped duvet neatly folded back - 'When Saturday Comes'…….
9.30am - My first full hourly review of The Fishy - carefully identifying comments; researching usernames; Grimsby Town player udates and so on.
10.30am - Details added to wipe board above bed
11am - Google search for Lincoln player names, again added to wipe board - board is already pretty full
12am - Research for train times from Lincoln to Nottingham, added to wipe board - nearly full!
1pm - Review Twitter, record names of 'away' pubs and other key information for later use
2pm - Pre match nerves, had to take matters into my own hands
3pm – The match, the big one! Careful studying of Twitter for game updates, and keeping an eye on the Lincoln score
3.45pm – Grimsby 0-0, Lincoln losing 0-1
4.50pm – We lost, Lincoln too
5.00pm – Straight onto The Fishy, detailed review of ‘Back Home’ thread
5.30pm – Post on The Fishy, all about how Lincoln were robbed and the journey home from Nottingham – never a red card 
6.00pm to 10.30pm – Fishy reading, they’re not happy – sad times
10.45pm – Light a candle under the Russell Slade poster
11.00pm – Day over, one final effort...Fenty.....
