According to the article, which as usual slates us, it says that the plod estimate 8000 tickets have been sold? I can't see that being correct but surely the club keep the police informed of tickets sold/predicted gate for supposed high risk fixtures?

A long time since I see a 8k crowd at B.P. I reckon around 7,600 tops.

I think we got over 7000 for one of the home games against the Gimps when they only brought a few hundred. So 8000 is possible if the Town fans do as Civvy suggests.

that would mean 6200 in the home end.....which is around an additional 2800 ish  sales over STH.......NO CHANCE.

Don't forget this plus 1 making the journey down.

I have a great record watching Mariners games in recent seasons. Long may it continue.

It was 7650 in the NL in 2015/2016 and they have picked up a lot of support since. We probably had that many fans that day?

It'd be more like 3400 over STH sales. Perfectly doable. Surely. Must be.

8000 will include Lincoln's 1800 and the 3000 STs, meaning we've sold about 3000 match day tickets. Not buying it.

another 2400 on the home gate just because its Lincoln ? not convinced that will happen...our home attendances have been dropping since the opening day not rising.

5400 opening day
3800 last game..

6200 Lincoln ?  Not sure who is trying to kid who here....

Probably not dropped all that much since the opening game against Coventry, who brought what? 1000 plus?

I can't see the Lincoln game being an 8000 crowd somehow, unless Lincoln fans buy tickets for home areas.

Think it will be a lot lower tonight

I bought my tickets yesterday mid afternoon.
Lower Findus sold out
Upper Findus restricted views only left.
But PLENTY of tickets still available for the Pontoon and Main.
I think a low crowd tonight sub 4000 for sure, but a good result tonight should lead to
A boost in sales for Saturday. Let's hope so.

If you don't want to watch your team play a local derby against your oldest rivals in a game where a win will potentially take you above them in the table, when exactly do you want to watch them?

With our indifferent form at present, I can understand why some might not want to go to a Tuesday night match against Colchester, but surely the whole point about following a team is wanting to get one over your local rivals in the 'big' games?  :-/

Well....according to the OS we have less than 900 tickets left.....i am pleasantly suprised.  Could be a cracking atmosphere if Slade gets them flying out of the blocks.

Well samg isn't going, OK? This is the worst things have been for 30 years, and he just knows we are doomed.

I'd loved to be proved wrong tomorrow at 2.45 but unfortunately I can't see it! C'mon JF use my posts as devils advocate and when you win put it on the big screen with 2 fingers up to me!!

Massive game, lose embarrassingly then we will see excrement attendances for a long time, win and we could just get that spark from the fans to start to kick on and good some good feeling factor

According to ground guide BP holds 9052... According to the OS we have 800 tickets left. So with the calculations the attendance should already be at 8,200. What's the odds when the attendance is read out it is less than 8,000.

That doesn't account for S/T holders who cannot go for whatever reason.

The ground capacity is now around 8,400

The cup game v Scunthorpe the other year was a sell out - the gate that day was 8,300 odd

I thought the last we heard was that it was 8,700.

Yeah I think the capacity is about 8800 currently.

There’s been some lost to segregation with new FL rules hasn’t there? Hence why Lincoln’s allocation is 1,800 and not the 2,200(?) that the Osmond holds - although some of those are lost to restricted views.

I'm not worried I'm looking forward to it. They aren't world beaters and it's a 4th division game. Be nice to have a good atmosphere and hopefully a good game.
