Are you volunteering?

I've never witnessed "fans" of other clubs causing trouble, obviously something in the water in NE Lincs that means only Gy has buffoon supporters.  ::)

Not saying we haven't got our fair share of numptys but terrorising women on a train and trying to take the handbags off at least one of them is out of order.

You of course have eye witness or video evidence to back this up, and also the evidence they were Town fans, I suggest you take it to the police, instead of trying to act holier than thou on a rivals message board.

Oh dear. Did we have a glass of sherry with our Sunday rat roast.   Just like the prize prat Iron Smiler, your mask is slipping and the true knobhead is emerging.
Which family pub will your bunch of 'heroes' be invading this year. The 'pear tree' is far enough out the way and should have plenty of women and children in.

Bizarre that this hasn't been reported anywhere at all, not even on social media yet you seem to have heard about it. I agree with pizzza, time he was banned. Offers nothing to the board and not even a good WUM, just a sad, lonely individual.

Bit touchy some of you lot aren't you. Didn't want to come on gloating cos we won away to the second place team in the league with 10 men and you got tonked by the scabs. Now if I would of come on in the first place with that all helll would of let loose. I keep saying I'm not anti town but that did happen on the train and those of you who try to defend it should be ashamed of yourselves.

Accept at present they have the upper hand but all this excrement about fans behaviour is just nauseating but Lincoln is full of well behaved little angels!!!

Town crier is indeed Steve O'Dare ( the actual Skegness town crier). all mouth and no trousers... I know him from long ago.... arseole then and an even bigger one now... I have no doubt he will be at BP for the Lincoln match... being into politics ( Very Tory ) he will no doubt welcome an open discussion with anyone... although if you don't  agree with his views he will simply try and belittle you...

I'd be surprised if there's a town crier who isn't a tory. It's probably just about more tory than being a morris dancer or battle re-enactor.

If you live in lincoln you should know better than calling us a city full of smug twits. We have gone through a million times why our crowds have quadrupled this season. Thousands of fans who have always been out there have now returned because of the combination circumstances which we have been through. Just like they would at Leeds if they got back to the Premiership League, just like they have at Brighton, Man City and whoever else you want to mention. It's not smugness it's the simple fact that if your club can eventually get the right manager offer you some decent football to watch have some relative success the people will come no matter what league you are in and you have the fan base in the first place.

Nothing like. Not remotely. Leeds fans wear heir shirts and have Leeds Utd banners on their Facebook pages etc in the leanest of times. I know from living here and witnessing it, Lincoln fans DON'T.
You have a hardcore base, the rest are celebrating getting back INTO THE LEAGUE as something akin to winning in Europe.
Hardcore fan-base aside your fans are rubbish.

What I was trying to say is that as long as you have the fan base no matter what league you play in if you are successful the fans will come if not they will drift away and that is the same for every club in this land.

Mostly posters with sub-100 posts, as I always point out. i.e people who were NOT on Vitals, NOT wearing Lincoln shirts and NOT watching Lincoln when they lost at Carshalton 5 seasons back.

At the time we only brought 500 to your place we were at a ridiculously low ebb ( still not a good excuse ).
If you say some of our fans were laughing at you taking1200 to Mansfield on Saturday well that is a disgrace. To take 1200 away fans away anywhere at this level is a good turnout. The only controversy I would add to that is as I have said before if you had,had a better start to the season in you would of sold out easily.

Mr O'Dare isn't that appreciated on vitals, I have no idea if this guy is him or not.

The two biggest reasons things have gone the way they have at Lincoln numbers wise are simply down to having such a long cup run and going almost a year unbeaten at home in any competition (no, not bragging). No doubt some ex fans returned from before and then some new ones came out of the woodwork, but all returned or started mainly to watch a successful winning team. I don't think there would be any difference at GTFC or most other clubs, maybe not the Scunts though. The acid test will be the level of support we settle at when things calm down and naturally return to the more realistic level, as they probably will sooner or later.

I got so peed off with how crap we were, have been an IMP for 35 years and a non stop ST holder for over half of that.  I have seen some unbelievable dross in that time frame. I am just enjoying the moment and period of success whilst it lasts, because it won't be like this forever.

You seem to be on a downturn of fortune and form at the moment, I/we as Imps fans know exactly what that is like because we have been there, that doesn't mean to say you cannot turn things around. If we can, so can you, as long as it's not in the two games against us this season  :).
Posted by: mariner91, September 11, 2017, 5:46pm; Reply: 47
Good on you Impish for sticking with your team. Enjoy the good times as we know all too well how fleeting they can be.

I don't, and I'm sure most Town fans don't, have an issue with the genuine fans who stuck with your team. It's the ones who have come out of nowhere to start bragging about attendances etc. Where were they when you were sh9it? You forfeit your right to brag about your team if you can't stomach the bad times, you may as well support any old Premier League team if you're only there when things go well.

Steve O'Dare for sure. Even writes like Steve O'Dare.

Steve O'Dare, a twerp with far too much time on his hands.

Likes to evoke a reaction, thinks he is clever.

Hated in Skegness for being the councillor that was mostly responsible for selling off a local sports field to Premier Inn.

Looks like he thinks he is a bit of a local celeb
