Surprised to not see a post about this chap.

Thought his celebration after scoring the penalty was unnecessary, unsporting, and aimed to wind up as many Town fans as possible.

Yet don't remember the ref speaking to him, let alone booking him.

What a cretin

Isn't this a trend now? Wycombe players last season scoring with a Town player out cold in the area, bad enough the ref played on with the possible dangerous situation but they continued and scored and their players also goaded the Town fans.

Football's rubbish.

Surely just needs a Town fan that was there to report it to the FA.

Almost, Pell like I thought............

Remember in 98 when we had just got promoted and played Sheff U on a Tues night, we where giving Dean Saunders dogs abuse about being a sheep shagger he just laughed it off and gave us a bit back, all good natured. Then they got a corner and he said to a few of us behind the goal something like "watch out lads I'm going to score in a minute"  ball comes across flick on and he scores, no bigging it up just a celebration and a little look back to the Town fans, sadly that kind of class is lacking with these so called "stars" who play 4th division football.

All the teams who know how to play the Grimsby fans beat us easy, we get easily wound up especially when losing, our players hear the frustration and get frustrated then make another mistake. With our poor form they must be looking forward to facing us.

Especially Harry Pell who will have another fun day being booed and called names while he puts goals in our net. Most teams know our fans are loud and give a lot of stick to certain managers and players so they give some back.

Soon we'll see another manager gone and a new manager, more promises and a whole new team by January because we are absolute garbage.

Easy for me to say because I'm not a professional footballer, but if I was scoring goals I'd want to celebrate them with the fans who pay my wages.

Too many players these days celebrate goals in front of our fans like we'd been taunting them (when we really haven't).

Can't remember the last time I gave an opposition player some grief - mainly because I don't know who many of them are.

The Grimsby fans did try and put him off his penalty kick with a rendition of the Pineapple song - he responded by rubbing his hair after scoring - just  a bit of fun.

Yeah I'm sure they'll set up a massive investigation because a bloke scored and celebrated.

It always makes me laugh when fans give a certain player a hard time,

Then complain when he gives a bit back,

Totally snowflake, if you give it out be prepared to take it back.

Are you really suggesting we sink to the level of Lincoln fans.

having seen the highlights, more fed up about his dive for the 2nd penalty than the over celebrating.

Its like Chris Clements celebrating his penalty in front of the Mansfield fans last season that's what kicked them off in the first place, we won that day, and Mansfield won on Saturday
