After watching this https://www.grimsby-townfc.co.uk/news/2017/august/freeview--why-russell-slade-was-upset-after-stevenage i can see why Slade wasn't happy with the referee. And I'm convinced that Jones didn't foul the defender behind him, and he was indeed taken out by a sniper.  .

Jones deserved to be sent off, the view I had clearly showed him elbowing the player with his right elbow to the chest. Everything else though is shocking.
