Reading various posts / tweets it's now a bus service then it isn't a bus service ... anyone clarify the situation ?

As far as I know, absolutely NO-ONE is going on the train.
So it would be pointless making any of them 'dry trains'. Honest 😉

Booked four tickets for the 9:40 to Chesterfield it mentioned 2 changes but nothing via bus so not sure 🤔

As far as I am aware all TPE trains to Manchester Airport that day are terminating at Doncaster.
You then need to change trains to get to Sheffield, I think Northern and Cross Country are running trains but they take a different route. Then change again at Sheffield for Chesterfield.
As far as I know it is trains all the way but just having to change at Doncaster AND Sheffield, rather than just Sheffield.

Had it confirmed by the GTFC SLO on twitter that there are no bus replacements.

There's a new pub opened on Platform 3 at Donny station too!
Very small place though.

Absolute nightmare but yes after some confusion within TPE its back to the 2 change/all train journey!
