Myself and a few chums are doing the GY10K on Sunday,   All around the 40years old mark and as fit as Peter Sweeny (Not very)

Anyone other Mariners doing it this Sunday?

I am. Mentioned on another thread that I'm suffering a bit with tendonitis so won't be going for a PB unless I'm feeling OK on the day. Managed a 10k on Sunday morning in about 54mins and would be happy with that time this week.

I thought you were putting a number plate up for sale,

I would have been interested in that number,

BUT

Not in running 10 yards never mind 10K. ;D

Aye did my first 10k last week and managed 53mins which I was very pleased with.. My legs felt like running in treacle the last 2k though and that was hard work.

I'm glad its not going to be to warm and sunny on Sunday. :o

Looking forward to it, though I wish I'd done a bit more training.

Just under 53 minutes for me. Very happy with that since I only bothered starting attempting any running properly about six months ago.

61 minutes for me, not too bad for a 41 year old tubber. My first run ever of any note, done a couple of park runs and trained a bit, but not enough. I'll have another go next year now I know what to expect.

Simariner did it in about 48 mins, well done mate!

I see quite a lot in my neck of the woods and keep thinking about where I should buy a car from next time. Looks like it's Brighton.
