Anyone else taken advantage of the weekend discount? Decided last minute to treat myself to the new home top, Mrs also bought her lad the top with his name on  :)
Also on top of that, anyone travelling to Bideford next week fancy a car share and leave one car at the m5 Tiverton junction?

I think that is classed as being sensible. This town gets worse every day

It's a lovely place is Louth, I've only been there 3 days and I've come to the conclusion I'm staying in Louth now, should've moved years ago.

I think they said anyone who didn't have a DN postcode, so Louth should be eligible (if the offer hasn't finished).

I can never work out why they are called exiles.
Were they rounded up and herded away from the area?
Despatched on cattle trucks and a flotilla of boats against their will?
What is their MP doing about it?
Surely this is a national disgrace, it's outrageous in this day and age.   :o

I ordered one as well. Pi**ed off with the charge for postage though.  Only saved £5 and some coppers in the end.

To be fair, you'd have had to pay postage on top of the shirt at normal price, so you've still saved a tenner (if you see what I mean).

Not ideal that we have to pay postage but that's part and parcel (don't excuse the pun, it's awesome) of being an exile.

Should have asked them to send it down on the team bus and picked it up at the Bideford match.  8)

I didn't want to say anything but the postage is a bit expensive,, I used to sell things all the time on ebay and it'd cost around £2 to send a tshirt

I paid postage but you did have the option of collected them at the club shop,

They will not be in until August anyway so if you are going to a early season game  you could have saved on postage.

As Brigg has a DN post code are we not classed as exiles?

So, someone who live just outside Doncaster isn't classed as an exile but someone who lives in Louth (or even Binbrook or Caistor) is?

This was raised with the club on twitter when they announced the promotion and they chose to ignore it. Why they didn't just state specific postcodes (e.g. DN32, DN35, DN36, LN7 etc) were exempt from the offer, rather than the entirety of the Doncaster post code area I have no idea.

I have a DN postcode but my Aunty with LN postcode lives closer to BP than I do ::)

OR  make the offer to everybody.

To enjoy an easier life, I think this is what the club should do next season. One week with £10 off, no matter who you are or where you live.

Maybe they think DN stands for Da Nunny?

Or simply make it postage free. That way it benefits everyone fairly and probably would cost the club a similar amount as the 10% offer.

I live 55 miles away with a DN postcode and have been exiled for over 30 years, seems I don't count. :(

You wouldn't think it so funny if you had to hear your kids speak with funny accents. You have no idea of our suffering:

awight daaaad, ahz it gowin? (or howz it hangin blud, from the younger ones)
alrrright der da?
alreet ar dad 'owz tha doin?
or worst of all 'how are you daddy?'
