In the Tesco in Brigg yesterday and saw a Lincoln City top, this is a first for Brigg. Just wondered if other towns between the teams e.g. Barton, Market Rasen etc notice how as various teams are successful than their shirts start to appear.

6k is a nice problem to have but you can bet 3k of those will moan like hell about anything and everything Vital will be Comedy Gold when the Cowley`s depart.

Or they could romp the division and keep the support. They've cashed in on the positivity from the great season they've just had, they've made some decent signings and have a good management team. I think they will do well. We didn't do anything different to usual after we had our promotion season.

They've just been promoted to the bottom tier of the footba league, I'd hardly say 'successful'..... Doubt Man Utd and Liverpool are going to see a decline in sales just yet :)

Haven't seen a Lincoln top in Barton yet, see a few Hull or Scunny but recently have seen a lot of Town shirts than usual.

Can we please stop having threads about Lincoln. It's just boring/dull.

Don't get the obsession.

They could but given their history you would suggest it very unlikely they are a small Club and any success will see them lose players and Managers.I have no idea why but suspect the Cowley`s will end up at P,boro,Ipswich or Norwich before Xmas.

Or maybe they'll struggle in the Football League, and everyone will realise the conference was extremely weak last season and they took advantage of having a decent team?  Time will tell.  Maybe they're not the geniuses some are suggesting.

Anyway, couldn't care less, let them enjoy the first decent season they've had in my entire lifetime.  Things even out in the end.

You do understand that managers and players are under contract? Cowleys for instance are here until 2021 which will cost anyone a small fortune to prize them away, even for more wealthy clubs.  This small club will no doubt see the Cowleys leave to go onto much bigger and better things, but I can't see it being until this season ends at the very least.

I think the Cowleys signed a new 5 year contract so it will cost a small fortune to get them in the next 2 years at least,

If they gain another promotion they will be taken away by a championship team at least,

Failure on the other hand and the Lincoln board will be muttering " why did we give them a 5 year contract "
