Blimey, is it closed season or something? Must be if we have threads about stadia. I notice there is a kit thread but no mention of socks. How about town socks over the years, or a debate about oranges which used to be the standard half time refreshment. Hardly ever see an orange at games now. I notice someone has managed to start discussion about trains in the Bideford area. Mind you I have not seen any discussion yet about why we do not have fish and chips available at games, or why the paper towel dispensers are so bad. (Mariners Trust take note)

How about toilets and pies, though not in that order perhaps? ;)

The best flasks for keeping hot drinks - well hot?

In-depth reviews, from both the Upper Findus fans and the Mainstanders.  Tales of how they smuggled flasks in to BP.

Very good view of the Humber must have been the reason we are 10th.

Adam's Park, No. 4? It's at the end of the world on an industrial estate!

Claggan Park, home of Fort William FC in The Highland League. (Not really a stadium though)  ;)

Hardy's Rec would have beaten it by more than that normally but unfortunately judging week was when the travellers had moved onto the rec so it resembled a suburb of Scunny at the time.

My ex could smuggle large flasks into the ground in the same way smoke bombs where  'allegedly' smuggled last season  :-/

I'd be pretty distracted playing or watching at Claggan Park (icon_eek)

Same problem here at Keswick FC

Interesting article. Idiosyncratic list but that's no bad thing. 'Beautiful' isn't the word I'd have used about any of them. Except maybe the outside of the Holt End. 'Characterful' would be a better word. Or 'iconic'. It also seems to be as much about the locations and the history as the architecture.
