Only 17 years old and still on scholorship terms according to the Sun. No doubt they will get compensation but probably a fraction of his real worth in a couple of seasons especially if they get promoted. Doesn'tseem fair when you cosider how much some clubs spend on development to avoid having to buy players for large fees.

You take the monies and dance to their tune....i would expect they have signed upto the acadamy agreement thing that gets them extra funding to have all the facilities/coaching in the first place to attract the better players....vicious circle.

It goes both ways. Fulham signed a young lad (15ish) from us a few years ago. So they've benefited from it too.
