Heading stateside for a few months in a couple of weeks. Starting in NYC & heading to LA. Long route driving through lots of major cities.

Any town fans over that way? Would be great to catch a beer if so 🍺🇺🇸

During Operation Promotion I remember sending quite a bit of stuff to NYC.  Unfortunately any contact details are long gone. :o

I cannot understand why any of the above posts have received the dreaded red cross!!! Seems to me to be a genuine Town fan asking if there are any other GTFC fans in the States. I'm sure I'll get loads of X's now but I do think some people should get a life.

Rant over UTM

I live in Ellsworth, Maine, but it's a good day's drive from NYC.  You'd be very welcome to come for a pint or two - we have a pub here, run by an Englishman who also brews his own beer - not a bad pint!

Our son is staying with us at the moment on a short holiday from Seattle, he brought me back a Mariners tea shirt with Griffey 24 on the back,
I think it's something to do with baseball.

He does go to the occasional Sounders game though.

A bit random but I was in New York in December 2015 when we played Shrewsbury at home in the FA Cup. A group of us decided to stop at a sports bar a few days before just next to the empire state building and see if they could stream the game for us, the duly obliged and when we went in for the game a couple of days later the guy behind the bar bought out a framed town top and told us one of his regulars is a big town fan. Weird how we seem to be everywhere!

In the Torch before the play off final last year we were talking to a guy from New York who had flown over just for the game.

Sounds like a great trip Sutton.  I know of a Town fan in Toronto and one up in Portland, Maine and myself in Ottawa - think we're all a bit too north for you.  Be interested to know if you're doing a blog or putting up some photos of your travels - with the mandatory Town Scarf or Shirt of course.  If so could you send a link - be interested to follow your trip?

What a trip! Hope you've got your Harry!  When we were in New York last summer we were walking about near Times Square and I heard a shout of 'Maaaaaaarrinnnneeeerrss'  few days before in downtown Toronto a guy shouted 'Up the Mariners'.  We get everywhere!

Only problem being, you would have to take your own beer as unlike NY. USA, the one in Lincolnshire hasn't a pub and little else for that matter. ;)
