Well our first year back in the league is almost over, although some may be disappointed with our final league position no one can deny it has been a good season with some fantastic away days. I have managed around 9 away games which is the most i have ever gone to. Gutted to miss yesterdays however!

Any way i am wondering what is everybody's favourite, for me it's special mentions for Doncaster ( never been a part of an away crowd that big ) and Derby ( first away day of the season, great atmosphere )  But my favourite has to be Blackpool as it was just a great weekend overall and we got the result

I was thinking about this, this morning. At a guess I'd say the full list of favourites for all Town fans would include, in no particular order, and for various reasons:

Carlisle
Blackpool
Hartlepool
Derby
Bolton
Donny
Mansfield
Notts
Plymouth
Luton
Barnet (but feck the football)
Cambridge
Orient

Having only made the south east games, I'd say Orient, for the atmosphere, the result, the pub.

Derby seems so long ago, but it was fantastic we gave them a real game and outsung them

Can't choose between yesterday, Blackpool and Orient............ The fact that we have so many great ones to choose from speaks volumes.

Carlisle for me. It was looking like another dismal away day at half-time but we blew them away in the 2nd half. Best 45 minutes of football from Town this season too.

Banteriffic messy away day wise - Notts County

Blackpool atmosphere was fantastic we played well and won.

Derby for me. It felt so good to be back in the football league and the fans were incredible that night. We played some great football for large parts and could have got a result even at the last minute when Mckeown got his head on a corner, the crowd would have gone ballistic if that had gone in

I think Plymouth away. Vocal support all through the game and played so well was well praised by Plymouth fans.

Plymouth - by an absolute country mile, great performance, great result and really really nice people. Everyone really happy to see us back in the league. Great day.

Only managed to get to two this season,

Colchester and Cambridge but I would have chosen them anyway,

That's because it was Luna's first ever games and now like the rest of us she is hooked.

Best atmosphere was Donny but my favourite was Hartlepool

Only done a handful this season but Notts County for me. Probably sums the season up nicely with how the game panned out as well.

Not Crewe or Stevenage..

Or Exeter (Don't start on the worse away day. Too many candidates.)

Stevange - Lost 0-2, see above.
Leyton Orient - Win 3-0, Best away day for me.
Portsmouth - Lost 0-4, brilliant Atmosphere, crap performance.
Cheltenham - Lost 1-2, Shocking performance and no atmosphere.
Barnet - Lost 1-3, Shocking performance, amazing atmosphere.

I have to agree Plymouth was a great weekend , fantastic atmosphere ,super team performance ,Plymouth fans really friendly(especially the 'green taverners),

Blackpool and Orient also great away days/weekends .

Doh!

For me Donny n Notts , , the noise was just immense.

I think yesterday just topped it off for me though, , smiled and laughed so much and that was just at Town!!

Didn't enjoy Donny as that early goal flattened atmosphere and game had very little excitement

So many great away days but some awful ones, seemed to be very few inbetween.

The ones where we won!  For me that's Luton, Cambridge and Orient.

Best atmosphere of those was Orient as we took a lot and had the fun of the Eendracht Aalst exchange visit along with the pop songs.  Was a nice warm day as well, which must help and I imagine will lead to a lot of votes for Blackpool away, which I couldn't get to but which sounded amazing.

Having been ever present this season it'll be hard to narrow it down but I enjoyed:
