No team news yet, plenty of over weight coppers behind the goal area again though.

He knows how they play - direct and physical
Pitch is awful so it will be a scrap
No criticism of Berrett just a different system
Same with Pearson - just wants a look at him and Shaun might have a more physical presence

Fans can now pay on the gate, are they taking the urine or what.

Davies was left woefully exposed for 45 minutes at Crewe by Bignot. He's a good player and he'd be fine at right back or in midfield, just not got the legs for wing back. Gunning might get himself a contract here, today should be his sort of game, he'll either be man of the match or get sent off.

If that is true then the club should put a complaint in.   C'mon Town lets help send these fckers down.

Very scrappy. Impossibele to pass the ball really. Macca just pulled a fantastic save. The pitch is literally falling apart under Maccas foot.

Anyone listening to JT on Humberside? What is the point of Lloyd Griffith as the co commentator? Adds nothing other than occasional 'funny' quips.

Hull have Swann, Scunny have Kerr and we have anyone off the street so it seems

We also have Alan Buckley for every home match but you don't seem to acknowledge that. It's an away match. It's also flipping miles away. They always have a guest co-commentator for away matches depending on where it is, and I believe Lloyd occasionally steps in if no one else is available. Does it really matter?

And therein lies our problem next season if we sign and play Collins and Pearson.

They have to sit deep if the oppo are playing long ball. Ball over the top we have no pace to counteract. If we sit deep we invite the oppo on. No pace at the back means we're stuck between a rock and a hard place..

We need pace at the back next season to improve.

Of all the disappointments this season, giving Cheltenham 6 points and probably league survival is the worst. Pathetic excuse of a football team. However, their fans can have their little triumph as it must be bloody awful to be one of them. No class, no history, no fans, no pitch, no football.

As Devs rightly pointed out we are mid table team and have been under all 3 managers.
Time for some wheeling and dealing now to get some pace and leadership into the squad for next season.

I guess many teams will point to their inconsistency but it really has been our Achilles heel but not surprising given our 6 years absence. The best teams cope with the physical sides in addition to those who park the bus and those who play possession football. We have had a steep learning curve and will be better for it especially if the management team can impart their wisdom

I think Donny, Plymouth and Pompey all secured promotion today, so if say Luton can join them, i don't think next seasons league will be massively difficult to get in the top 7.

Some very strong teams are moving up and the teams coming down i suspect as you obviously do are not as strong as them, although no doubt they will be in the market for players before next season.

Im sure im not alone in trying to figure where our true position belongs in this league as we established ourselves in it when Omar was scoring for us. He's gone and now RS must improve it including a succesfull new goalscorer in a squad which is already overloaded and not many spots available.I'm sure RS will improve the team but i think unless he can strike some real gold nuggets we may be in for another frustrating season in L2,

Hope RS can pull this off
