Goal! Macclesfield Town 1, Maidstone United 0. Rhys Browne (Macclesfield Town).

Why was he loaned out?

"To get him closer to home" after some personal stuff according to Bignot at the time, oddly enough I think his family are based in Romford, a 400 mile round trip! On his Twitter feed recently he said he was loving it there.

Not entirely true, It was to get him more game time to help with the loss of his father.

I hope he gets a fair crack of the whip next year, seems to have some potential!

Literally just text my mate exactly this. Hopefully we don't have any Junior Mendeseses.

Love to see him play for us regularly, he's a left sided winger isn't he? We'd get some balance back into our team that has been lacking all season.

Depends on whether he's good conference level and not quite good enough for L2. Seems strange that neither Hurst or Bignot were prepared to give him game time here. Hope he gets a shot next season and we can see....

I rate Rhys, he changed the game for us against Bolton, fast nippy and not scared to go at players. Get jim back.

We sure need a winger. He's on a 2 year contract isn't he. Can't see him being loaned out again as he will have to prove himself at L2 level if we are to offer him an extension.
