I'm going to be optimistic and downgrade a battering to a mere home defeat.  I think they'll be up for it and we already look like we're putting out experimental teams as the season peters out.

3-1 to Donneh.

7254 (1900 from the Soviet Socialist Republic of South Yorkshire)

[By the way, joking aside, I hope the Donneh fans enjoy their weekend (other than the game) and spend lots of money here, enjoy a run along the beach at sunrise, some local ales, some haddock the size of a cricket bat, and generally show up the Police for their heavy-handed approach, which in the end only harms all football fans.]

Town 2 Donny 0 Asante and Jones att 6840 2k Yorkies

Town actually raise their game at home and spoil the Yorkies Cup Final roared on by a partisan home crowd. The after match talking points as usual the off field stuff with once again the Police failing miserably to control supporters and CLPS turning into a warzone. Naturally the home supporters will be to blame :-/

From GTFC Facebook page:-

We have issued over 6,700 tickets for tomorrow's visit of Doncaster Rovers. Can it be our largest gate of the season? Home fans, help us pack the mark and make some noise for the boys!

I am going for a 2 1  win for Town

I think we'll play a 2-1-3-3-1 formation which will stun and shock Donny and win 3-1 with goals from Pearson, Jones and Asante, there'll be 7001 and 1920 will cumfer't day.

Aah yes Belle Vue, without a doubt the biggest shi*thole of a ground ever, bit like the town itself actually. Of course I'm biased, my ex wife came from Donny, couldn't understand a word she said.

Missing this one as a pre arranged HSV v KÖLN, the bars opposite Hamburg HBF aren't a patch on Meggies high Street though.
I feel a two niller to Town with an end of season feeling around the ground.
UTM!

No surprise no one predicted the correct score ( Donny boy was the closest  :o )

Well done to "carrot top" for only being 7 out on the attendance.

Too late now but I will be running the "Prediction Thread" next season on a league basis just for a bit of fun.
