Osborne possibly due a rest? Had missed out a few games prior to joining us and has stepped up to full time and played every game since...perhaps today has come a bit soon for him.

Or perhaps MB thinks the team he's picked is more suitable to play against Newport. I have no idea how they play, but y'know, I'm sure MB does and has picked his side accordingly.

What I will say is I do think we've got a really good squad now, on paper at least. To make this many changes and to be able to put those players on is pretty impressive. Nice looking bench too.

Still, let's see how it goes eh!

Gunning in front of the back four I'd imagine if that was the case. Would be a rather strange midfield, however. Possibly a bit lop-sided with Andrew pushing up more on the left using his pace and Mills sitting a little deeper with Bolarinwa playing more as a right winger?

Jonny you may want to take into account both the shocking condition of the pitch(same for both sides but they are used to it), their recent improvement in form since signing god knows how many new players in January and the increased confidence that gives them. Think Ferguson commented after Donny's visit on Saturday what a difficult place this was to visit and winning there would be very difficult.

Point after a drubbing last Saturday will do for me.

In two minds......shows awareness of the particular factors effecting tonights game and tactical shuffling to adapt/ counter them which is good....however it was still Newport, the worst team in the League so disappointing MB said "we would have got steamrollered if we had come and tried to play football".....

Best player for me was Mills. Pearson and Collins solid, Sam Jones had one very good driving run and Tombola did a few good bits and pieces, but that was about it.

Pitch awful, officials awful and the match totally devoid of quality.  The Pipe shouts were funny though almost had me in tears.

It's stopped the rot after the past couple of dire away results and that is what is most important.

One of my mates lives down in the south west and his message mentioned that it was a match almost totally devoid of quality or incident.Still, it's an extra point on the board which is what counts as we're obviously a team that needs to make sure we get safe before even thinking about a potential push for the play-offs. Hopefully, a few home wins will settle things down long before the end of the season.
