Hope this is April fool as I have to leave home at 7.30am to get to the game at 3.00 (admitted I have fish lunch and walk around town before the game) I don't fancy 5.30am start.

Shame it couldn't have been moved to the Friday night. Getting married on April Fools Day so missing the game unfortunately.

It's pretty much guaranteed that any local-ish match will be an early kick-off. I was suprised it wasn't a 12.15 kick-off.

Or could you pass it off as the ultimate fools day prank if you turned up several hours late having been to the match? Has she got a good sense of humour?

She's never let me forget when i was about 3 hours late to her birthday party at her family's 6/7 years ago because of a Town game so I dread to think how long she'd milk that for Rodley.

You need to man up and start putting some markers down otherwise she's going to run rings round you 😉

How much of a difference does moving kick-off to an earlier time actually make?

Are there fewer crimes or arrests? What are the statistics? Because I'd like to see them.

If the police think it shortens drinking time before the game and therefore reduces the chances of violence etc, then what about the extra time fans have after the match to get drunk and smash up the town?

Of course, I'm making all football fans sound like hooligans, which they're absolutely not.

It's just the police that treat us like that.

Honeymoon in Blackpool would be a good recovery though.
